Frequently Asked Questions
How can the one day course be the same as completing the two day course? Is the qualification the same?
Yes the course code is exactly the same (HLTFA301B) as the two day course. We no longer offer the old two day course due to it no longer being sort after by people wishing to complete a first aid course. Since we introduced the new one day format we have found people to be more confident with the learning outcome than previously with the two day delivery. The new delivery is vastly improved and there is much less duplication & far more efficient and streamlined delivery resulting in a course which is kept to script and does not include content outside the scope of the course.
Can I have the First Aid course conducted at my workplace?
Yes, This training is tailored specifically to the individual work environment and includes instruction relating to specific anticipated risks, hazards, & injuries.
Is the new Apply First Aid the same as completing Senior First Aid?
Yes, In March 2008 the new National Health Training Package HLT07 was released and Apply First Aid now replaces Senior First Aid. Each participant is awarded a Nationally Recognised Statement of Attainment upon successful completion. This accreditation is current for three years, at which time it must be renewed. The CPR module of the course is current for 12 months and updating annually.
Is there an alternative to the internet pre-study or pre-course workbook?
Yes, we deliver a seven hour course with NO PRE/STUDY WORKBOOK OR ONLINE TIME. Everything is progressively assessed throughout the course.
Are Queensland First Aid Courses Accredited?
Yes, we are a Registered Training Organisation (RTO 31961) Our Courses are based on Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines, and every successful participant is issued with a Nationally Recognised Statement of Attainment.
Is there any sort of guarantee with your training?
Yes, please refer to our refund policy contained in the student handbook.
