This course was previously known as Apply First Aid, Senior First Aid and Level 2 Workplace First Aid. At the completion of this course you will be proficient in handling emergency situations such as injuries, burns, dehydration or heat stroke, snake bites, bleeding, choking and seizures. Additionally you will cover topics such as substance abuse, allergic reactions, epilepsy and loss of consciousness. On completion, you will benefit from having a certification adhering to the Australian and New Zealand Committee on Resuscitation Guidelines.
This course will provide you with the knowledge required to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies. You will learn the skills of providing CPR life support, managing a casualty and learning to communicate effectively with medical professionals. Your CPR certification is valid for 12 months.

Parking: Free student parking conveniently located at soccer field opposite training venue. Parking on Australia Wide First Aid’s site is not permitted. Arrive 15 minutes early to sign in and fill out paperwork.

Q: Can I have the First Aid course conducted at my workplace?
A: Yes. You could even be eligible for a group discount. Having the course conducted at your workplace will also give you the opportunity to have the training tailored to your workplace needs.
Q: How do I pay for my course?
A: You can use Visa or Mastercard to pay for your course online or over the phone. It is recommended you pay 48 hours before your course begins to ensure you receive your certificate on the day of your training.
Q: What if I have to cancel my booking?
A: Cancellation is free if done three days before your booking. Instead of cancelling, you may choose a different time slot if it’s available.
Q: How long is my certification valid?
A: The CPR component of your certificate is valid for 12 months and needs to be updated annually, however your Provide First Aid certificate is valid for three years.
